Ask your MP to support the Care Supporters Bill

Help us achieve a new legal right to a Care Supporter - a relative or friend who can be there to support us when we’re using health and care services. Never again should we be isolated in a care home, hospital, or other care setting. We should all have a right to choose someone to support us when we might need it.

The Care Supporters Bill (Gloria’s Law) will give us all this new right. Help us get it over the line. A group of MPs is writing to the Prime Minister to ask him to bring in this new law. Please ask your MP to add their name to the letter, in three simple steps:

  1. Download the letter the Prime Minister to send to your MP

  2. Use our template letter to ask your MP to sign up

  3. Let us know how you get on: team@carerightsuk.org

If you have any problems accessing the letter or template, let us know and we can email you a copy.

Thank you for your support. We can’t do this without you!
